Austin Green, who has been made a regular as Kyle Reese on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Green, whose casting was the source of much fan consternation on the Internet, turned out to be a fan favorite and is now one of the core elements of the series. Green, like the rest of his fellow cast, is eager to share the new season with fans. The 22-episode season has a larger cast, larger budget and is unlikely to be interrupted by another strike so it will deliver all of the goods to the fans.
Green was accompanied by his girlfriend and fast-rising star Megan Fox (Transformers). Fox attempted to keep a low profile, hanging back while Green conducted interviews and promoted his series. Being the intrepid journalists we are, we took the opportunity to ask Fox if she would consider a guest role on Sarah Connor. After all, battling evil robots is what brought her to the public’s attention in the first place.
“I would love to!” she said without hesitation. “I would love to. But I think he [she pointed at Green] would rather die than have me on it!” Green, who grabbed Fox’s hand to make a gracious exit from the party smiled quizzically and said, “That’s not true!” No more comment was made as the two waved to fans and left the secure perimeter of the FOX event. They then climbed into a truck driven by Jason Priestly that then transformed into a giant robot – driven by Luke Perry – and they vanished into the night. (Editor’s Note: That last part about the robot and such was not true.)
