Megan Fox wants to set things straight – she’s no Angelina Jolie.

And to prove it, the smoldering actress will pass on the chance to play the role of gun-slinging, badass action-hero Lara Croft.

Industry insiders have said Fox would be a natural follow in the role originated on the big screen by Jolie in 2001.

And it would likely be a career boost for the sexy “Transformers” star – “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” catapulted Jolie to superstar status, but Fox is steering clear of the franchise, which was adapted from a video game.

“Megan is not involved in this movie,” her rep said.

That leaves producers on the hunt to cast a new villain and love interest along with a leading lady, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
