Megan Fox is known for showing skin, but the Armani muse seems to be ditching her bad girl image.
Fox may have once shared a curvy frame like Marilyn Monroe, but it looks like the actress is trying to put those comparisons behind her. Not only does Fox no longer boast Monroe-esque curves, but she also appears to be in the process of removing the tattoo she got in honour of the iconic blonde bombshell.
At a recent Armani event, Fox’s arm tattoo of Monroe’s face looked noticeably lighter and a lot less detailed, leading to speculation that she’s undergoing laser treatment to have it removed, reports PopEater.
The tattoo is part of a large collection of art that Fox has collected over the years. Other ink includes a quote from Shakespeare’s ‘King Lear’ on her shoulder and her hubby’s name on her stomach.
Fox previously explained the Monroe tattoo, saying, “I really admire Marilyn Monroe but I would never try to emulate her. I got the tattoo as a warning. It warns me not to let myself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks me down,” reports PopEater.
Just because Foxy is rethinking her ink doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing anymore body art in the future. According to PopEater the actress said, “Everyone hates them because they’re closed-minded about tattoos. People who don’t like me, as far as fans go, always talk about how I’m trashy because I have tattoos … Tattoos aren’t limited to sailors. I find them beautiful, so I’m going to keep doing it.”
