‘Taurus’: Maddie Hasson, Scoot McNairy, Ruby Rose, Megan Fox & More Set For Colson Baker Movie
DEADLINE – EXCLUSIVE: Rivulet Media’s Colson Baker music saga feature Taurus has added Maddie Hasson (Malignant, God Bless America), Scoot McNairy (C’mon C’mon, The Quiet Place Part II, Argo), Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black, John Wick: Chapter 2), Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory (Euphoria), recording artist Lil Tjay, Megan Fox (Transformers) and musician Naomi Wild.
Taurus, formerly known as Good News, tells the story of a rising but troubled musician (Baker) as he spends his days and nights searching endlessly for the inspiration to record one last song. His sister-like assistant (Maddie Hasson) wants to save him, his collaborators (Scoot Mcnairy, Lil Meech and Lil TJay) want him in the studio, while his dealer (Ruby Rose) and his ex (Megan Fox) push him deeper into the void. The movie explores the darkness of fame, addiction, the artistic process and the music industry. Tim Sutton directed off his original screenplay.
Baker is working on several new songs. Jib Polhemus produced alongside Rivulet Media’s film division President, Rob Paris and COO Mike Witherill. Anonymous Content and Paradigm are co-representing the worldwide rights.

Megan Fox on ‘dream boy’ Machine Gun Kelly, and helping girls come out
NY POST – You want to talk about life imitating art? Hollywood crucified Megan Fox, and now she’s back, with absolutely zero f–ks to give, and a role as an alluring vampire in the new Netflix horror movie “Night Teeth.”
It’s a plot twist straight out of “Jennifer’s Body,” her 2009 horror-comedy first panned as a misfire, then elevated to feminist cult classic. It’s also the movie that inspired countless women to come out of the closet, in part thanks to Fox’s steamy makeout scene with Amanda Seyfried (and also with a lighter, but that was more of a demonic possession thing).
“I can’t tell you how many girls, from 30 down into their teens — or, f–k that, my age, too — come up to me and are like, ‘I realized I was gay because of you,’ or ‘I felt comfortable coming out because of you,’ because of ‘Jennifer’s Body’ and the interviews I did about being bisexual before it was cool,” says the 35-year-old Fox, who celebrated Pride this year with a rainbow mani on Instagram and the caption “Putting the B in #LGBTQIA for over two decades.”
“That’s something that’s so important to me, that I’m so proud of,” she says. “If my purpose on Earth was to help one girl come out of the closet and feel OK about it, I had an amazing purpose here.”
Fox isn’t big on small talk. She’s an intense Zoom hang. It’s great. She speaks her mind in a way that I’m sure has caused many a publicist to tear their hair out over the years.

GQ – In the backroom of a studio, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are giving each other tattoos while I watch. The lovebirds’ matching tattoos will read, ‘The darkest fairytale’, a phrase Fox says ‘alludes back to one of the first text messages we ever sent each other’. Fox wants to get inked first, because MGK has tattooed before and she’d rather not delay the pain. MGK clarifies he’s done some drunk scrawling with the tattoo gun before, but this is serious. He dips the needle in ink, presses down on the traced phrase and looks at Fox to make sure she’s OK. Fox puffs on a CBD joint to relax and they both decide they might as well just jump into it. He starts going over the stencil with the needle, pausing sometimes to take stock of his work and wipe the pen ink. ‘God, that’s sick,’ he says as she looks at his handiwork. He smiles at Fox. It’s going very well, but they could use more direct light.
